Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This policy explains when refunds are and aren't available for purchases made through TIMO.
Domain registrations are non-refundable
When you register a domain, we pay the registry immediately and the registration is activated in your name. Because of this, domain registrations and renewals are non-refundable once completed — this is standard across the domain industry and is set by the registries.
When we can help
- Failed registration: if your payment succeeded but the domain could not be registered, we will fully refund that domain.
- Duplicate charge: if you were charged more than once for the same order, the extra charge is refunded.
- Obvious pricing error: if a domain was listed at a clearly incorrect price, we may cancel and refund the order.
Auto-renewal
To avoid an unwanted renewal charge, disable auto-renewal in your account before the renewal date. Renewal charges already processed follow the non-refundable rule above.
How to request a refund
Email support@timo.lk with your order number. Eligible refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
Note: This is a general template. Please have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it for your business.
